Dance classes offer both children and adults the opportunity to experience the joy of movement in a group setting. Lucy Moses School dance classes for beginning students start with a strong introduction to classical ballet, modern and jazz techniques while focusing on building flexibility, improvisational skills and a basic dance vocabulary. Advanced classes in ballet, jazz and modern dance are offered for more experienced students. Adult Dance & Movement classes are also available on a drop-in basis! Per-class rate is $19 and can be payable at the front desk. Please note: The age listed for each class is the student's age as of September 1, the first day of the school year.
DANCE DISCOUNTS
Students enrolled in Dalcroze classes receive a 10% discount on dance classes.
Students enrolled in dance classes receive a 15% discount for taking two dance classes per week.
Students enrolled in dance classes receive a 20% discount for taking three or more dance classes per week.

SPRING DANCE RECITALS
Dance classes with a minimum age of 3 or younger culminate with a share in the studio. Dance classes with a minimum age of 4 or older culminate with a recital in Merkin Hall. A costume fee for Andrea Redman, Suzanne Grégoire, and Christina Morrissey’s students is due at the time of registration for the spring session. Students of Parsla Vintere will receive directions about purchasing costume pieces (approx. $60). Additional rehearsal details will be shared in the spring. Some rehearsals in Merkin Hall may replace regularly scheduled classes.
